You are invited to attend the seventh biennial North American Textile Conservation Conference on the Conservation of Three-Dimensional Textiles. The two-day conference program will include 17 lectures, eight posters, two evening receptions and lunch during the conference. Miriam Clavir, author of the prize-winning scholarly book Preserving What is Valued: Museums, Conservation and First Nations, has been invited to deliver the keynote address. Presentation of papers and posters will take place at Complex G (Édifice Marie-Guyart) of the Provincial Government of Québec.
Five concurrent workshops will be held on the two days before the start of the conference. Workshops will take place at: Centre de conservation du Québec, Maison Chevalier, Maison Henry-Stuart, Musée des Ursulines de Québec and Musée Huron-Wendat. The second day will conclude with an evening concert, Tango!, at the Palais Montcalm de Québec music hall, one of the finest music halls in the world.
